Hamid Pour-Mohammadi appointed as new PBO head

TEHRAN – Iran’s new President Masoud Pezeshkian appointed Hamid Pour-Mohammadi as the new head of Planning and Budget Organization (PBO), IRNA reported.

Pour-Mohammadi, who has previously served as the deputy head of PBO and the deputy governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), replaced Davoud Manzour.

In a decree to appoint Pour-Mohammadi to the new post, the president has urged him to fulfill the organization’s long-term vision and follow the general policies approved by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution while fulfilling the goals of the country’s seventh National Development Plan.
